Best 4x4/SUV for a family? Discovery Sport going back
Discussion
Yup,
Wife's had the Discovery Sport and now wants another SUV. Budget is around £350/month this time around.
Have been told carwow is a decent site to look around on.
And yes I have mentioned the fact we could pick up an estate with 300+bhp up for that price bracket. But nope... I have the fast cars and she does the family car.

I need to replace the family S-Max and my shortlist is:
Hyndai Santa Fe: Excellent family car, tough looking, stacked with equipment, 7 year warranty and my wife loved the driving position. However couldn't fit 2 booster seats and a child seat in the middle row so had to reject.
XC90: Best execution of the family car concept. Fantastic interior, well equipped and feels like a premium product. Expensive
X5: (about to be replaced F15 shape): Great to drive and well appointed interior, but less practical than the XC90. Third row less well executed. Most expensive running costs
S-Max: Another top family car, well equipped and good looking in the Titanium Sport X Pack trim, pretty well built and great to drive, great value and cheap to run.
I don't need the 4 x 4 bit of the 4 x 4, and find 7 seats useful. I also prefer a petrol as I live in Central London so I'm tempted by a year old XC90 Inscription Pro T6 Petrol with all the toys.
