Sounds like either a Lister Storm or a Maserati MC12 to me...

Ring the BBC, they'll put you through to the people who produce the programme. I did this a few years ago (also regarding Top Gear, as it happens) to get the name of Blur's "London Loves" (which was played as an intro to their feature on that year's Car Show).

Is this another mystery car thread except with music?

Here's a clue:

1) It is a song
2) It is music

"Can you guess what it is yet?"

If you have a recording of it, play it and dial 2580 from your mobile.

Hold your phone in front of the speaker, the call will end automatically.

You then get a text telling you what the tune is.

Very clever, rarely beaten and only 50p a go.

I've used this before, it's great and does actually work.

Oh and from memory I believe the track playing when Sabine is going round the track is the Ferry Corsten mix of William Orbit - Barber's Adagio for Strings.

However, it's been a good few months since I've seen it so I could be wrong.

Of course, the trick then is to dig through your CD collection and try and find something it won't have heard of

The William Orbit version or the Tiesto version?

Neither are as good as the orchestral one anyway!

But I guess you can't really hoon around to that one..
