Hi All -

I'm looking for a new car, and due to my son's profound learning disability, this time I need it to have lockable passenger windows. he likes to wind them down and try to lean out to shout at the traffic with excitement!! It's obviously very distracting and I have to stop to wind them up. I really wanted something quite small but they all seem to have wind up rear windows. Other than taking the handles off, is there anyway you guys know of locking them?

Thanks

Miss Jo

It’s a very simple job to remove and refit the handle usually. at least it has been on the cars I’ve worked on.

I think that this is your easiest solution. Keep the handle safe and it can easily be refitted when you sell the car. There won’t be any clue

If you can find one with electric rear windows then check it has a lock button in the front to disable the rear switches, most do.
