Morning,

I am after a fast 2+2 coupe or convertible for daily duties and the odd blast to lunch with the Mrs and little ones. The M4 is very high up my list and I was looking to purchase soon - considering hanging on to see what happens at brexit though.

Anyway, straight to the point. I went to a car meet this morning and was hoping to see one and have a natter with the owner. To my surprise there were 4 there - however every single one appeared to have been acquired by Max Power and frankly looked terrible.

Have I missed the boat? Without sounding like an old tt - now M4’s are becoming more affordable is it the “chavs” first choice? I don’t see many in my rural whereabouts - what about where you live?

FYI - I don’t normally care about this sort of stuff - there was also a F458 that had been ruined, so understand this happens at all levels. But it’s just put me off a bit.

Cheers.

I remember when the Ford STs where every chavs car to go to, but now its M135/40s, M3/M4s, some AMGs. Guess those 0% deals where somewhat to blame or kids just got richer.

Anyway forget what everyone has, just get what you want and enjoy it.

M3 seems to be less popular with the innit bruvs.

Yes I suppose the 0% deal has made it fairly accessible and won’t help...

I’ll have to get a test drive and decide for once and all.

I think - based on the spec-obsessed conversations on a certain M-related forum - that they were originally bought by people who watch Pimp My Ride... smile
