With the 'Roar before the 24' test currently taking place at Daytona, I thought I'd start a thread for the whole series.

https://www.imsa.com/schedule

And plenty of free streaming of the various series in the IMSA umbrella.

Looking forward to this season, the racing last year was superb all the way through.

Will be interesting to see how fast the DPi's are now that they're not pegged back to LMP2 speeds, Zanardi in the BMW should be interesting as well...

My brither in law is racing in the Michelin tyres challenge in a Murillo racing AMG GTR - was at Laguna Seca last year and was on the pit wall - quite an experience!

Looking forward to this immensely. IMSA has become my favourite racing series to watch of late. Fabulous cars and tracks and great racing. Races are usually on at a reasonable time for uk viewers too and the IMSA app/website makes it super easy to follow.

Apparently the stream only starts on the formation lap, for those seeing errors at the moment. Fingers crossed it's OK for the start.

Still broken. The radio is working though so at least we can catch the start there.

Yellow flag at the mo, lots of rain and a Corvette went off.

Alonso is leading, before the flag he was pulling ahead by 2-3 seconds a lap, in the rain, in the dark. Just under 8 1/2 hours to go.

Alonso really has been showing just how quick he is, especially in difficult conditions !

Is the rain forecast to stay for the rest of the race?

It’s Florida. I expect so! The satellite is showing similar though I hope it clears up and they go racing again.

Forecast is persistent rain for the rest of the day, there's a good chance that's it.

If they do call it, will the result be the current positions?

No doubt Alonso has shown he is the quickest out there, his stints were excellent, especially when it started to rain.
