Hyundai i30N or Fiesta ST-200 with LSD

I'm pondering over what 5dr to replace the MX-5 with. I don't need a car for work or commute but have two - so both cars need to be FUN. Both are about £20K and I have no particular love for either brand - should confess to have never owned a Fast Ford. Which has the better/stronger engine/gearbox - the i30N powerplant is Mitsi Evo derived?

My only experience is with the Fiesta, but by now the MK7 interior is well out of date, and will feel pretty shocking compared to the Hyundai interior.

The Fiesta is very tuneable but would take a lot of cash to get as fast as the i30.

Would 20k not get you a really high spec Focus ST3? If you were keen to scratch the fast ford itch that's the route I'd go

They're both very good cars & in reality only test drives will tell you which suits you best, I'd go for the i30N but it really comes down to personal preference.

Focus and CTR are too big - want something smaller and fun. Was originally looking at a Mini JCW but the i30N has had some rave reviews.
