Looking around the Seat dealerships, there seems to be quite a few low mileage, 2018 registered Leon TDI 2.0 FR's at reasonable prices, for example:

Leon SC 2.0 TDI FR 150 with cruise, 18" wheels, 4000 miles, £16000

Quite possibly dealership demo cars.

Is there anything to be wary about, can a demo diesel engine be harmed by a less than sympathetic driver?

Well it will have 2 years warranty remaining if not more so wouldent worry about it.
