New Job - notice period
Discussion
Maybe stick with it a bit. My mate started a new job this year, and a fair number of (completely justified) "oh God, what are these clowns playing at?" factors that were encountered at the beginning were reduced significantly as he got his teeth into it and was able to influence things.

My other half started a new job today.
Contract signed with a 3-month notice period.
To cut a long story short, the job doesn’t look like it’s going to be for her.
Is she bound by the 3-month noitce period
Thanks
I'd be concerned if your OH had started a job important enough to come with a 3 month notice period but doesn't know if she has a probation period.Contract signed with a 3-month notice period.

I'd expect probation to be 3-6 months with 1 week/month notice period within that.
I can sympathise with her. Back in the 90's I started my dream job. My first day wasn't good but I thought let's see how it goes when my direct line manager was back in the office. My second day he was back, and it got worse. By 5pm I'd decided it wasn't going to last.

Yes. Why would she not be? Contract signed with a 3-month notice period.

Notice periods can be and sometimes are enforced by injunction. If unhappy, try to negotiate an early exit.
