Restoration of XK150 and '60s Pagoda SL -Parts suppliers?
Discussion
A couple of friends have been working on the restoration of a Jaguar XK 150 and a Mercedes Pagoda SL over the last couple of years.
The body work on both are finished, lots of new/restored parts fitted, but they both need the final push to completion.
I've been asked to help source the parts to finish the builds, so do the good people of this forum have suggestions for parts suppliers for both the XK 150 and the Pagoda?
Thanks

I can't help with the Merc but for the XK
Guy Broad is a great place to start
SNG Barratt have a lot of Jag parts not just classic XKs, but I used them with my XK when I had her
Burlen Fuel Systems for the carbs
I used to search eBay if I was looking for period parts.
If they are keeping with the original ignition system then Distributor Doctor
Wheels and tyres I used Motor Wheel Service International Ltd
I was thinking of sourcing some trim from Aldridge Trimming just before someone made me an offer for the car.
I think I bought some things from Leaping Cats too.
They probably know this lot already, they're the usual suspects in the XK world.

These guys are Mercedes Pagoda experts https://silchestergarage.com/
For the Jag there's also David Manners and Norman Motors.
Personally I'd re-use or recondition as much of the old stuff as possible. Many of the new items are poor quality and/or don't fit very well. Rubber bushes and other rubber items are often particularly poor quality and don't last even twelve months.
Anything chrome plated I'd try and salvage. If that's not possible ask for it to be supplied un-chromed and get it done yourself. I haven't bought many chrome items that I've used "as is"
For panels Leaping Cats is now probably the only source. Contour Autocraft have moved out of XK panels and parts, which is a shame as they were better quality and more helpful to deal with. They may still be worth a call as they'd probably give a good price on any stock remaining.
For Instrument restoration I used Speedograph Richfield. Speedy Cables allegedly do a good job but take an age to do so.
My own XK150 restoration is well advanced so ask away if you get stuck for anything specific.
