Having been let down by my usual painter I'm looking for a recommendation for someone who will do a perfect job - a mate has scratched his £40k silver Porsche whilst cleaning it to sell.

So I can't wait weeks and it has to be right

Warwick, Coventry area

Thanks

I've used https://www.chipsaway.co.uk a few times, been good and worth getting a quote.

But that's just the franchise I know from experience it all depends on the painter - if you can recommend the guy who you used I'd be interested

I don't know if it is something that Manhattan Motors would do, but maybe worth a call.

Surely the two are mutually exclusive, a good finish froma 'chips away guy'. There's a reason why proper bodyshops dont paint cars outside under popup awnings.

Last time I called them they had a several month wait - but worth another call I suppose

No some get great results, some operate from premises and I have a garage they could use

Most don't like to do smart repairs on silver cars as it is very hard to match the colour.

I have had a good experience on a BMW 120 (Sparkling Graphite) with Steve Hayward, based in Bidford -on-Avon. Tel: 07701 053640

(It was in 2009 though!!) If he's still in business then I guess he has a lot of experience!!

Option 1 in Bromsgrove, - not the cheapest but fantastic job and quick turn around. You get what you pay for with them and they have always been pretty fair when I've used them.

Just bumping this as the one time we take my wife’s new car to the hospital (rather than my scruffy BMW) someone scuffed the front corner. Of course they didn’t leave a note or anything. rolleyes

Manhattan Motors in Coventry have quoted £150 to do it.
