Is There Some Biased Moderating Going On

11th post on this page (https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&f=205&t=1766802&i=3500) a climate change denier says to me "I have your number, will struggle not to read posts of yours on that nasally shimmy tone of dan ofhisnuticelli, another hypocrite...."

I respond by saying that "I bet at school he was the stupid kid kid sat in the corner with a pointy hat on".

My post is deleted for breaching PH rules but the original post still stands.

Is my response any more aggressive than the original insult to me??? If not why is the original post still sitting there?

After my post was deleted I reported the original post just to see if anything would be done but nothing has.

I ask as on the climate change threads there is the distinct impression that the mods are favouring the deniers in as much as their posts don't get removed whilst those who are pro AGW appear to pick up outright bans all to often.

This particular spat appears to encapsulate that.
