If I was a picture editor this is the one I'd buy:

Fantastic shot, well done!

yes thats what i thought too, but it's a shame that the focus appears to be just in front of the animals, ontha grass. I hate it when that happens

i'm also a big fan of the first one, but i think it looks better without the grass in front of the lion...

i also fiddled around with the contrast etc but thats not a big difference

Your both right was so p*ssed when I got it on the computer and the focus was slightly out.

You have definitely improved the cub pic, the grass is a little attention grabbing in the original.

It's OK, Portraits are always meant to be a little soft!

Soften the grass and no-one will know.

You can also see that the lioness has here tongue out too

If i did want to put them on the market how does it work, how much do you tend to get for them and who is best to sell through?

Completely bombarded with excellent images - yes the lioness and cubs is a winner and a seller. But I'm hard pressed to say any one above the others!

There are places to sell on-line as well as more conventional agencies these days. The price you can command is more to do with the usage than the technical brilliance of the image, so it's difficult to be objective. Also depends how you feel about the middle man taking a cut, mabe up to 50%?

I agree on the lionnes/cubs front. But my fav is the first chimp picture.

Simply stunning work (as if you needed our reassurance to know that!).
