..... Friday 13th , had the Cerbera for six days , covered 850 miles .

Passenger door will not open from the inside .

Radio works , boot opens , so this is telling me logically , it is not a fuse issue , therefore it has to be the door switch .

Before I make a complete prat of myself shouting at the supplier , anyone have any suggestions ?

if the door will open from the outside,
then i would tend to agree that it is the internal
door release switch

Do the lights inside the car stay on when the door is shut/ does it refuse to alarm itself properly at the moment??

If so, it'll be the "reed" switch, simple/cheap to sort - access by opening the door and undoing all of the alan key bolts around the edge of the door. Then lift off the *ridiculously* heavy inner door piece and it should be obvious... havent messed with one in a while so please excuse any mistakes, all from memory im afraid.

Door speaker works , and door opens from the outside , so it would appear it is the internal door switch , Thanks for the confirmation .

I will be in touch with the supplier tomorrow .

Probably be the connector block either in the footwell or the inner door.

Mine turned out to be the inner door connector, can't remember the wires, sorry! Try giving it a good spray of WD40 and a bit of a jiggle.

Well my passenger door doesn't like opening from the outside, but very random, works most of the time.

I had this about 3 weeks ago, the passenger door wouldn't open from the inside, but speaker and external door switch worked OK. Eventually I just took off the internal door to be greeted with this mess.

I just chopped the mess off and chocblocked the corresponding coloured wires together, works a treat. If you do it yourself, just make sure you have some black mastic/sealant to reseal the top black plastic section next to the wing mirror.
