Every year there is a British Car Day held in Gingin (Western Australia), normally complete with British weather and as it's inland the occasional patch of mud in the field where the cars are displayed (my son has heard stories about this amazing substance but only gets to experience it this one day a year).

This years event is this Sunday - hoping to get 6+ TVR's half of which will be wedges. The Jaguar / Bentley crowd etc are normally there in big numbers, complete with huge marquee and caterer's, whilst we occupy a small roped off area round the back in the deep stuff content with the hot dog stand.

However, it's normally a good day out with a craft fayre, bands, stalls etc so if anyone is reading this who knows someone here then let them know about it.

We are always looking to meet other like minded people so whether the interest is British cars in general, TVR in particular or just rain, mud and Aunt Gertrude's homemade strawberry jam then please pop down and say hello.

Will do a follow up report with a photo next week.
