SUV for £10k

I'm helping a friend into a used car, she has £10k to spend on an SUV. Qashqai and Sportage are top of the list, but what else might be worth a look?

Needs to be diesel as she does 15k miles p/a and ideally auto but not essential.

One (petrol) left field option I thought about was an MG GS - any thoughts on these and running a contemporary MG?

I would say Toyota RAV4, Honda CRV or Kuga are pretty good I would avoid the infinity EX as it may be diesel but gas pretty high running costs and mpg in the 30s!

I'd find it hard to look past a Skoda Yeti at this price point, just check it's big enough as it's quite a short car.
