Auralic Polaris - any good?
Discussion
I've been offered a very good deal on an Auralic Polaris. I was originally looking at Hegel (Röst or perhaps a used 190) and the Auralic seems to be a contender in that same space.
Would be great to hear others' feedback on it if possible. It'll be the hub for FLAC playback from MusicBee (or possibly Roon if I can see any major benefit to coughing up for it) and driving my Celestion A2s.

Further research over the weekend has shown it's only possible to set this up with Auralic's "Lightning DS" app - which is only available on iOS which completely rules it out for me as I'm firmly in the Android world and will never buy an Apple device.
The stupid thing is this is a networked unit - why on earth wouldn't you include a setup GUI which can be accessed from any PC (or Mac) using its IP address? That's something even a cheapo printer manufacturer can do.
Seems a daft reason to risk losing a sale on an expensive device.
