I wasn't to sure at first but the quality of the work is great. Still not convinced about the interior but the exterior gets better each time I see it. that front end is just fab!!

My PERSONAL view is that it looks bloody awful. Waste of such a beautiful car.

Not good. I'm all up for mods, but not like that...

The colour scheme, the cheap looking chrome, the digital instruments straight out of an RS or Maplin catalogue, the ugly front end. It's like a 17 year old boy racer won the lottery, and someone told him Cerberas were a good start...

I lust after Escort Cosworths, I'd love to get hold of a Skyline R34 and roll up to Middlehurst with a Nismo parts list and get all Gran Turismo. I would not, ever, decide that 'hmmm, I really think gold and pink are the right colours for this fine vehicle'

Top marks for effort, shame there was a style bypass.

P.S. loved the carbon fibre exhaust cans 10/10 for taking it to the MAX!

P.P.S. Gutted it wasn't thrown up the runway at Duxford. Would've liked to have seen that nitrous in action...

Please let's not do this one again.

If you search for other threads about the Cerb you'll find loads about it.

At least one previous thread nearly started a war.

Im sorry to say this about any tvr but its absolutely horrid and disgusting. correct me if im wrong but is this the car being toted around the show circuit by pratt mag max power, if so then you can clearly see it was designed with a yoofs perspective, and as anyone knows the average yoof brain doesnt mature till there in there mid twentys.I know fit a slide to it and use it as a kids play area. What a waste of a top motor.....

What you say is true to a point. But don't forget that the Carisma guys have a number of products on offer and only so much "window space". So hey have to put it all into one car so they can show it. Doesn't mean they're publicising the sale of the car you saw, merely the options on offer. And sure, you're entitled to your opinion but I'm not sure it adds much to the debate by belittling their efforts. As it happens it is not my thing either. But live and let live won't ya. If you actually saw it in the flesh (as I did at Duxford) you'll notice that the quality of workmanship is quite exceptional.

Not my cup of tea, but very nicely done. It's not really a car, more of a sculpture..

To anyone thats interested, the Carisma Cerbera was, i believe, a show car created to advertise and present the skills, workmanship and creativity available at Carisma.

I doubt very much it was put together as his idea of the ideal cerbera at all, just a shop window really.

I would assume Carisma being a business would provide what the customer asked for, and if the customer base is primarily max power then it follows a lot of their work will be novas etc etc.

Now to sum up: if i was on the look out for a good quality ICE install for the chimaera Carisma would be on the shortlist.

Edit to say : beaten to the soapbox.

Yeah i saw the car in the flesh as well at duxford, granted the craftmanship is good, but a cerbera i think was the wrong car to do it on

I too saw the car in question at Duxford. I can't condone what they have done to the Cerb, as in my eyes Cerbs do not need any further exterior enhancements. They are just such a jaw dropping sight as they are.
But I do understand the concept of changing a car to meet the prospective owners requirements/likes. Be that alloys, ice, etc.

Nice craftsmanship, but not my cup of Absynth.

Well i can only say well done to this work of art.how many hours work do you think must go into something like this.unbeleviable.Doesnt float my boat but i respect the work put into it.
Also if it wasn't for people with views to trying to improve or modify things there would be no forward motion in the design of anything

I have only seen it in the flesh once, I reckon the exterior is stunning, the interior just is not my taste, but I can see that it is a great bit of engineering.

Can't help thinking if it was painted a deep TVR purple with racing stickers and fitted with a pair of recaro buckets and much carbon fibre every one would love it.

Then the car would have a completly different angle, it's got TV's in the boot not exactly lightweight stripped out racer then?
