Haven't seen anything on this on PH yet so I thought I'd whack a thread up.

Apart from AP's latest model (I'm holding opinion until I've seen it in the flesh) I've been thoroughly impressed which some of the stuff on display! IWC's spitfire range and Top Gun rehash are very appealing to me, as is a slightly smaller Royal Oak Chrono (38mm) for my more delicate wrist.

Anyone else happy with what they've seen so far?

All a bit meh so far imo. The overriding theme this year seems to be too big for the wrist and too expensive for the wallet.

The carbotech Panerais look stunning, but way too big and way to expensive for me laugh

Take a new Audemars Piguet Code 11.59 model, photoshop a Fossil logo on the dial, and would you ever look twice ... ?

I was hoping for a 1133B Monaco re-release or news on the Cal321 Speedy.

The annual calendar is stunning, as are the movements! The three hand piece just looks ... a bit fashion watch to me. It might be one of those watches that looks better in real life, rather than a rendered shot! smile

This Please, I believe the range launched last year but the Blue dial is new for SIHH 2019.

I checked the SIHH2019 website and saw no mention of Omega on there, so no 50th anniversary Speedy Cal321 announcement this week.

The new JLC Westminster thing is outrageously spectacular. 800k though so I'm probably never going to see one let alone buy one. Maybe my favourite watch now.

A 3-axis tourby! I bet that is captivating to watch.

I think that JLC has just taken watchmaking to a whole new level and I now have a new favourite watch.

I enjoyed the video below on A. Lange's new watches at SIHH. Whilst they're fundamentally variants on existing watches, they're a joy to behold nonetheless:

I particularly like the Zeitwerk Date:

Hmmm. Clearly a non-working prototype. Probably just a rush to show at SIHH before a real one could be produced.

Swatch group don’t do SIHH nor, from this year, Baselworld. They will run a trade only event in Zurich at the same time as Baselworld this year but I doubt they will wait until then to announce the 50th anniversary watch. Btw, the 50th will not contain cal 321.
