Dampers on my CGT are leaking so time to change them. Keen to hear if other owners have swapped out the dampers for aftermarket and what the feedback is. Considering Ohlins, but open minded at this stage.

When I was in California I popped into https://workshop5001.com and they had a Carrera GT in for some work, they had taken off the Ohlins and were fitting KW’s, might be worth an email.

If you send me a PM I can put you in touch with a company that can rebuild/refurbish them if it is of any help.

Better than the TTX? There isn't much better than those around - just look at most GT racing teams.

+1 call me a cynic but Id like to see the evidence before believing such a claim.
TTX is the benchmark for a reason

Parr in Crawley can remove/refit the Sach dampers andsend them off to Sach for a complete refurb. Would keep stock IMO.

Valid point about keeping stock, however the Ohlins TTX kit that I've been in discussion with a company in the US that was developed with PSI really is top of the tree, and the Ohlins twin tube damper system and single piston is a work of art.

The company in the US provide a carbon fibre front splash guard with a small machined pocket so you can remove the grommet and easily adjust the dampers.

I plan on doing more track days in the EU in mine this year with a good geo (you can get sufficient negative camber by machining down the aluminum washers where the wishbones meet the tub) as I've done and with a set of Pilot Sport Cup 2's the car is vastly improved on track.

I think subject to what B comes up with on the Exe-tc I'll do something along these lines.

Damper technology has come a long way and to have a range of adjustment will unlock a lot more potential from the GT:
