Hi ,
Need some help and advice from the ph massive please..

My younger brother has just had his first born and is looking for a safe, reliable family car..

Budget as above £10-£12k , must be a petrol or meet euro 6 emissions, big enough boot for pram and accessories etc..

Open to all suggestions please...

It depends on what he wants from his car if he just wants a swift sensible car then I'd be looking for these:

A used 5 year old Volvo V60 would be my shout. Cannot beat a Volvo for safety record and comfort in my view. They depreciate so quick from new that you can get a £36k car for £12k in 5 years....

Thx for the replies gents, still going through the options , not a lot tickles his fancy that’s within his budget...

Further suggestions welcome, preferably auto options, rather not be an estate but still have a big enough boots for pram etc..
