Hi all so I decided to connect an e90 to a diagnostic system via OBD and realised there isn’t an OBD connector, all I can see is a small 2 pin female connect and that’s all, I’m guessing either it’s been removed or moved, any idea what I can do?? Thanks

Just to clarify you're looking in the correct place, it should be at the base of the right hand A-pillar.

Assuming this is where you are looking, I would be removing the plastics in that area to see if the connector has just been moved to somewhere less accessible.

Yes that’s where I’m looking, had a few e90’s but never had this before, will try tomorrow to remove the plastics and see if the OBD is there somewhere,

Some people hide them away, due to the much publicised security flaw.

That is what I did on my E91.
I tucked it forward and upwards - the cables have a bit of slack in them.

Also check the glovebox and centre armrest. I moved mine into the centre armrest where the alarm sensors did cover.

Before removing the plastics, stick your hand up behind the plastic above the pedals. It may have been tucked up there.
