Car rolling back when brakes on !
Discussion
Just an observation over the last two weeks or so -
When stopped with foot on the brakes, say on a slight hill waiting at lights etc, after about ten seconds of waiting will find that the car starts to roll back.
As i've still got foot on brake pedal, push harder and pedal goes down a bit and car stops rolling, another ten seconds or so same things hapens again. The pedal never goes down to the floor, but from initial firmness from first braking, will find that the pedal will travel down over time as it appears to get softer, hard to describe this as I've never experienced this before.
What do you think - losing brake fluid or some other problem, can't see any fluid on the floor will check levels later - but wondered whether anyone else has had this problem, the missus has noticed the same thing too, so am not going mad, well maybe but not over the brakes anyway !

Just an update for those interested - and in case any one has this in the future
It turns out that the seal around the piston in the master brake cylinder had gone, so when the brakes were pushed the fluid was escaping around the piston, but not leaking out of the cylinder itself - which was I was losing brake pressure, but not fluid - its being changed over the next few days so should be back to normal soon
