Lately PH articles at the top of forum threads are displaying squeezed into a narrow window (the middle third of my browser window), with photos distorted to fit that narrow width.

The forum below it is normal full width and not distorted.

Is there a reason for this, and can I stop it?

Win 10 / Firefox all up to date FWIW.

Thanks for bringing this up Ben! This is the way it's always been, but this could be an improvement we make in the future to make it look nicer/easier to read.

Cheers

Thanks for the response - I was thinking it had always been windowed, but I don't remember it being as narrow or distorted as it is now.

I thought it was more like half the screen previously, and images were small but kept their proportions whereas now they keep their height but are squeezed narrow to look like cartoon cars.

Would you be able to post a screen shot of what you're seeing please, just in case something has gone wrong!

No problem smile

I was having the same issue with the Hyundai i30N sedan article too. Its just enough distortion to be irritating really - squished up with oval wheels - but not enough to make anything illegible.
