Mroning,

Hoping someone has some experience of this! smile

I'm wanting to add another fob to my bike, I have found the instruction manaul (https://www.datatool.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/S4C1-User-Guide.pdf) and on page 13, section b it says to turn the ignition on, off, on, off and then on again and it should do as described. However mine does not?

Fairly stumped at the first hurdle! I spoke to a Datatool fitter and they want £50 to pair a fob or £70 to supply a new fob and pair it.

Does anyone know anymore? There is a video on YouTube, which as always, make it look far too easy!

Cheers

Have you got a PIN set up on it already? What does it do when you start the programming sequence?

I've got the pin number as per the original certificate that came with the bike, of course based on this number still being the same!

I don't get anything visual or audible to say it has done anything apart from me turning the ignition on and off a lot smile

It sounds like the PIN has been changed then - perhaps try the reset PIN routine?

Sounds like you're knackered then, presumably it's not sensing the ignition on/off correctly? I'd get a fitter to have a look at it... Might also be worth giving Datatool a call.
