Should I buy a Tuscan or Cerbera
Discussion
I'm in the lucky position to have owned both. First was a 1998 4.5 Cerbera and second a 2002 Tuscan S. The Cerbera was great, very quick and ran faultlessly for the 18 months I had it. Servicing can be pricey. The Tuscan S is fantastic (onky had it 1.5 months) and I think feels just as quick, if not quicker than the 4.5 Cerb. I think it rides better aswell. Both are very special cars in their own right and you cannot fail to grin when sat in them! As with all cars buy the best you can afford (I wouldn't personally buy a Speed Six Engine car pre 2001 model that hadn't had a rebuild, however I know some people have and have never had a problem). Always try to budget for servicing costs as both can be high, although if you find a great independent such as APM automotive or Fernhursts then costs can be kept sensible. If you want to chat any furher or have any specific questions then drop me an email!

I have the similar problem (but not a bad prob to have) Cerbera 4.5 or Tuscan S. Want the Tuscan but can not do with the engine hassle. Looking at an 02 Tuscan so from the info on the last post I think I have less chance of engine drama than an early 02 or earlier. Is this correct or can anyone disagree?
If your bothered about the S6 engine get it inspected before you buy. The valve guides, finger followers and worn cams are what cause the majority of rebuilds. Any so called specialist can check this out for you. Not sure on price though. Prob around 500 quid for complete piece of mind.
