The bloke's a ct who's only in it for himself - so what's new?

If he was a true socialist, he'd forgo and carry on as before

Hope he has enough left over to pay for everyone elses pensions after taking out the majority of the money from the pot and sending it into a blackhole. I guess he is planning on using speeding fines to back up pension funds, the

It'd be nice to see him try to justify that as somethuing most well-paid people could aspire to under the policies of his government, but we can't, because the s have stolen it bit by bit and they're going to steal more. I would not be remotely surprised to see them end higher rate tax relief for pension contributions.

does mrs t get 2 mil a year for her pension then?

considering that most of us will have to work until we drop because of the amount of money this lot have lost from the pensions pot, recieving a pension like that is a total piss-take.

some are more equal than others!

you have four years to forget about bliars pension, and you have your retirement years to remember how they spent your cash!

meanwhile constituency boundaries are being redrawn and the house of lords is being filled with labour cronies!

democracy is dead in britain.

It's not £2million a year

It's £64k a year. Half of his Prime Ministerial salary.

Mrs T will not be getting that much as her salary when she left office was lower.

It's a £2k pension fund, something that takes a lot of your hard-earned cash to set up, unless you work for the government, in which case they give you it using taxpayers' money.

Thanks for that

It is somewhat hypocritical though, isn't it, for a government which has tried to destroy private pensions and has a limit (of around 1.5M I believe) on what amount of money you can have in your pension fund, to provide him with a pension worth 2M

And the last Conservative administration was squeaky clean?

Step forward John 'family values' Major. No hypocracy at all to be shagging the lovely Edwina.

ALL BENT no exceptions.
