Our Porsche GT Experience Continues

Well I have gone and done it again. Our Gen 2 GT3RS was delivered Friday Afternoon by OPC Chester; to say we are pleased would be an understatement.
A few pictures are in order I hope.

Looks mega.

Be interested in your views for road use vs the GT3 as you tended to use that car and put a few miles on it.

Do you intend to have a go on track with it ? With Porsche really pushing the boat out this time over the old RS to sway it towards track over road, it not fared well in road only reviews, where it’s wins hands down on track reviews.

So as some one who uses his cars I will be very interested in your thoughts.

Potentially a shrewd buy as i've heard if/when a second batch does indeed come to the UK, it will have two GPF's fitted which adds about 20Kg in weight and reduces power by 20PS down to 500PS..If that's the case i will not be interested in the 2nd batch and P/X my GT3 in for a nice 1st batch RS as you've done Rob.
Although having said that as i'm really enjoying my new 458 i might get a Performante instead.

As it’s from my local OPC did they have your 991.2 GT3 from you? I wonder how much it will be for sale for as it’s the only car I know with any serious miles on it....

Yes, Chris - it will be interesting to see. However, I'm pleased to say Rob's man-maths was carefully worked out on this one so even I am happy with the deal! They can ask what they want for it but what they get, as ever, will be a different matter Its a seriously well-loved car though & still below the 10k miles so should make a great buy for some lucky person (particularly if they want their car to look just like Mr JWW's!)

Enjoy guys and respect to Amanda , sharing your passions . My wives Tesla has a Flat tyre ( Nail ) so suggested we go to the event in the .2 GT3 RS , she refuses to sit in it and suggested public transport instead .....

Is your wife so concerned about the extra mileage and what it would do to the car's value?

Haha , no it is my DD ( done nearly 4k miles in 7 months ) but the wing and one trip in it seems to be about it , which is good thing really .

And to cap it the two GPFs make it sound crp..
