Am I correct in saying that these are best alternatives to the Pzeros 20" on 981 boxsters?

Personally, I prefer the GY Eagle F1s on the Boxster/Cayman, as they are, subjectively, a quieter and more comfortable tyre.

Less grip and go off 1/2 worn sadly.
I got pissed off with mine but did enjoy the lack of grip for a while, then it just got annoying.
The N spec is a old tyre. PS4s is an outstanding tyre esp atm in the wet at 3oc.

After the awful P Zero N1’s mine came with I switched to GYs and they are a revelation in the wet. Now getting over half worn and I haven’t noticed a drop off in grip (yet?). Can’t comment on the PS4S as they don’t make them in my wheel size, but everything I read about them is good.

To maintain the warranty I assume I need some 'po' or something?

Best place for tyres?

I now have PS4S on my 981 CS, and are a big improvement on the P zero's.
