9e's 718 Cayman S development car

What a car! I've got it on loan for the week whilst Ken upgrades my 991 Carrera T. Stage 2 with a custom tune and full Kline exhaust with 100 cell cat.
Did 120 miles in it today going home from Horley to Towcester and its blindingly fast on the road and really puts the power down when a dry bit of road comes along
A recent 718 with these mods must be one of the best value for money performance cars out there. The new 718 GT4 might sound good but it really won't see which way the 9e car went. I had been fancying a new GT4 but a 718 S/ GTS with their Stage 2 kit would see it off without breaking sweat. It seems like a stage 3 could be in the pipeline too with upgraded VTGs and 500+PS.

Certainly can see the appeals for someone that wants one car to do it all...but also have a bit of kick or spite in it.
It’s brilliant that Porsche have such a vibrant aftermarket.... engineering has also been a core tenant of the brand.... forever colouring within the lines of warranty will be nice for most people, but for many it good to have the opportunity to push the envelope... that what Porsche has always been about.... different from any of the other sports cars brand. Tweakers can tweak.
