It seems that the new Transport Minister meets a basic requirement and has driving licence - und in 2002 - he was one ping aways from ban under tot-tup.

Ladyman (52) (deputy to the Cornetto aka Beetle Brows aka Dahh-link )or ist Dalek - given his attitude to drivers ) ist overseeing the re-introduction of the Road Safety Bill - one which plans to give 2 points for pettiest offence - und ist pure spin in reality if this ist so .... He admitted to "Sunday Times" that he has 3 points still on licence by driving past PC Gatso at 40 mph instead of 30 mph as he rushed to MP surgery. His other 6 points have since expired - und both were result of being pinged as just over in M2 roadworks...

"They were 3 silly lapses - und politicians are human"

Now he ist being silly ..... Bliar ist a puppet und risks growing a nose like Pinocchio

But he says he ist careful now... ...und bet he bought a useful gadget too

It has emerged thet Ladyman ist calling for cap of scams as "we should not be putting them up - here, there und everywhere - there are enough of them already!" (Schock!)

He will be reviewing all scams und he does not dissent from point of view that there ist over-use - und that "this will give you idea of way my mind ist working!" Wonder if he will get away damit

In the meantime - Aunt Mary Brake ist having have bout of the female tantrums ....

"Basic requirement for a Road Traffic Minister ist a clean driving licence!"

No Luv. Ist requirement for him to have driving licence - that way they know how easy it ist to be safe - but unfairly treated here.

Ladyman drives an Alfa Romeo 156. He ist not first to be copped speeding - Harriet Harman was pinged in 2003 on M4 in Wiltshire at 99 mph. She was fined £400.

Oh does he? Well we'll see about that in due course but it's a bit early to say at this stage.

We don't want him rushing into some half baked road safety measures. What he needs is some proper guidance in formulating a constructive road safety policy. I think I'll drop him a line.

Best wishes all,
Dave.
