That happened to me too! I came off the M25 to head down the A3 and it was idling at just over 3k revs when I stopped at the traffic lights. A length of felt was stopping the butterfly closing in cylinder 1.You don't want the end of the strip to come adrift and get sucked into the throttle jamming the butterfly partly open when you are giving it a bit of pedal up a motorway sliproad... Luckily I had my tools, so pulled over into the layby and after a bit of messing about with the link rod and the throttle cable, took the airbox off and saw the offending item.
