Speccing a Aston Martin Valkyrie

MrJWW creates a specification for an Aston Martin Valkyrie that is actually going to get built. About 10 minutes into it myself and I am already agog at the layered carbon and the three micron thick badge.

Mr JWW is back with some insight into some of the tech in a Valkyrie. Amazing aerodynamic stuff.

The engine note sounds quite utilitarian, but if it is as fast as an LMP2 car out of the showroom, who cares?

Does anyone know when deliveries are expected to begin ?
It sounds as though several F1 drivers are customers.
I think David Coultard has said he is on the list, and presumably Adrian Newey, Christian Horner, and Max Verstappen will receive one.
Wonder about the second Red Bull driver, because there have been changes, since the Valkyrie order book closed. Perhaps Daniel Ricciardo.

.... I hope they make enough money on them...
Dr. Palmer has indicated that the high development costs might even make break even difficult. However, as it will be Aston Martin's (almost) first mid-engined car, it is a quick way to demonstrate engineering ability for the mid-engined models which follow.
You probably know that the Vanquish, is due to be the first mid-engined core model. - Beautiful.

The Aston Martin Cleveland USA dealer bought a new Vulcan, which was immediately advertised for sale.
There was/is a YouTube video of it being driven on the road. Police cars could be seen on occasions in the background, blocking traffic!
I don't think we could ever expect such helpful cooperation in the UK, for a track only car.

Funnily enough, that car was also red. The one for sale has done 189 miles in 4 years, and I see the selling dealer also has an outlet in Cleveland.
That either proves nothing at all, or if it is the same car, perhaps they are hoping for more wealthy customers in Beverley Hills, than Cleveland.
Edit - here is the 2015 video
