Will a plastic ice scraper scratch car paint? I had a build up of snow on roof of my car and used a scraper to clear some of it. Not had a proper sunny day to see if it’s caused any scratches

I think you're in the best position to be answering that, not us. Would you like me to pop round and have a look at it for you, or do you think you can manage it?

It certainly could cause scratches.
I reckon the best thing would be to keep the snow on it now, so at least you'd never see the scratches.

HTH.

Possibly. Next time you could place the scraper part under a micro fibre towel.

Probably not the plastic itself, but as you scrape if over the car, all the grit gets dragged along as well, and that will certainly scratch the car.
