Currently run a BMW 2012 318d SE @ 104k - been a great car tbh, but I have a slight inclination to swap it for a newer, more modern 2016 Avensis Tourer....my cars just sit on the m'way 90% of the time @ 70mph - so comfort is a big factor.

These things are cheap, and have so much gear on them...£7k will get you a decent one <100k on clock, which what 2/3 years old.

Cheaper to tax (if 1.6D / cheaper insurance probably also)

I have had a Toyota in the past (2005 d4d) and its was dull as ever, and very tired @ 100k - have they upped there game a little?

I dunno, any ideas?

The Toyota diesels really aren't the most reliable the 1.6d is really lacking go as for the fit & finish it's very good, i'd stick with what you've got.

Yes ultra dull but very good value for money and very reliable.

Price is a bit steeper but I went from a 318d msport 2010 to a B7 Passat which has been a fantastic car.

Yeah, my 318d doesn't cost me anything - so it is quite nice not having that burden or payouts or finding more money to get new car.

Think I am right in keeping what I have got for a while more.
