An argument thread.

Would it be possible to have an argument thread? This would be to stop interesting threads being derailed by stupid arguments like about withnail and I.... and similar.
If such a thing existed then it would provide an outlet for the terminally intransigent.

I await the first reply, which will undoubtedly be a contrary argument....

A way to to stop interesting threads being derailed by stupid arguments would be very welcome.
This is not the solution though.
