Oh no, not again.....

Some PH members may recall my brush with the police over a personalised number plate.I have ordered regulation approved plates and MOT to conform with a Vehicle Defect Form which is due tomorrow.Whilst I was returning with the Devon & Cornwall TVRCC this early evening on the A30 in my Griff 400 (G5RFF)with said offending plates still on the car (last blast) I happened to notice a police Volvo T5 parked on the side of the duel carridgeway
and they happened to notice me! I thought oh no not again
.Sure enough I look in the mirror to see the T5 pull out and follow me sat well back waiting for me to get my foot down.But I just sat at 60mph and let other traffic pass me.The police drew nearer and as there were no lay-by's they couldn't put on the blue lights just yet.It was just a matter of time.They drew along side me and I looked across only to be stunned by the two officers with their thumbs up
and BIG cheesy grins nodding YES
They showed their appreciation and drove off.It just goes to show that not all traffic cops are the same

I have had a "brush" with the law today too.
We picked up our Spectraflair Silver Sagaris yesterday and decided to go for a spin to London at 6o'clock this morning.( As you do)
I stopped at the traffic lights and the cops car pulled up beside me , he said " I was about to pull you over. but I'll just ask you " What IS it?" We told him it was a TVR Sagaris and he commented on how much he loved the paint job. By this time the lights were changing and he said "Go on give it some welly " Hope to meet him again when I've run it in!!.

Nice one, yes I too in the Torbay area....infact this afternoon, yes meet up sometime! Agree with the roads at that time of day.
