Sorry to hear that - but glad you're OK. Always looks worse at the time. Give yourself a couple of days to get over the shock and then reconsider the options. Maybe it's repairable - worth taking a few digital snaps and sending them to a few body shops. At least nowadays it's easier to get an initial feasibility estimate.
Good luck

Yeah, Andy man, it's only metal & plastic. Can be fixed. I'm sure your loved ones (maybe your wife ;-) will be thankful it was built so well! I bet if it'd been a Eurobox you'd be needing a couple of ankles and kneecaps....

(I do know the feeling about the car though... injuries heal, cars cost money!)

Andrew,
Glad to hear you are OK, that is tha important bit. I was with a S on Saturday that had been truly smashed and is being lovingly rebuilt by its owner. I would not suggest that is the route for you, just that its incredible how bad the damage can look and yet still be repairable.
As Ted said, don't despair...take time to think about it and as someone who obviously has a passion for these cars do not let it steer you into Euroboxdom....
Cheers
