This is doing my head in!!

HI,
Removed the heater matrix,recored the rad,refitted the complete assembly,what a pig of a job.
I cannot remember the heater controls fitting arrangement.Tried several options but to no avail.
Where do the 5 washers and two o rings fit to enable the controls to have the correct clearance,which enables them to fit within the cut out and also operate smoothly and independantly.
Any advice gratefully received.

Hi, this is a bit of a guess, but I had to reconnect my cable a few months ago so had the dash top off and all the washers in my hand. As I recall, its one on the top, one between the discs and the rest below as spacers. Bit of trial and error on my part as I forgot how they went too!! Plenty of grease, and the main bolt not too tight.
