Hello,

I’m looking to buy a reliable used Toyota or Mazda but I’m open for other suggestions. Having a reliable car with little maintenance needed is the reason why I was looking into Toyota and Mazda as someone recommended those manufacturers to me.

I do not care that much about the looks and or added features. I do not want a car that is too expressive. However, I do care about the driving experience. I will be driving quite a lot and therefore I should enjoy driving the car. For me, the enjoyment factor is a nice mix of comfort and fun. I personally relate having a bit more horse power under the hood to the fun factor of a car but maybe you guys out there can point me in a different direction.

I’m not really a car-know-it-all person biggrin and hence I need some help. I have a couple of models in mind. If any of you have a better car in mind, please suggest a different model:
- Yaris 1.8 – 135pk (2008)
- Auris 1.6 – 124pk (2008)
- Mazda 2 1.3 – 86pk (2008)
- Mazda 3 2.0 – 150pk (2007)

Budget is somewhere between 5.000,- and 7.500,- Euro

I would like to know what you guys think about these models and if you would recommend one of them (or multiple) and or if some of you have a different suggestion for a decent and reliable but fun car to drive.

Thanks in advance!

I hate to say it none of those are fun in the conventional sense:

But I'd say look for the SR model Auris if they're the type of drive you're looking for in petrol or diesel form.
