Oh no! I hope he is OK, presumably he has already had medical attention and you want to forward plan? Sounds awfull. A work colleagues son got badly burned last year, he was in hospital for months. I hope its not as bad as that.

Do you have time to briefly explain what happened and how he is?

Hope it works out OK - the body is an amazing healing machine but it just takes time - no quick fixes but the results in time can be unbelievable.

Steve, if there is anything you need just shout, we are fair way south from you, but miles can quickly disapear.

Burns units are excellent these days, I'm given to understand that keeping it sterile is very important, as infection is hard to deal with.

They have made amazing leaps forward with growing new skin and with the sterile skin patches.

Thanks everyone for your kind words,sounds like he might not need a skin graft.Jennie is sleeping the night with Lee,i just feel helpless at the moment.Let you know more info on Monday.

Sorry to hear that Steve, hope the little guy recovers well. A guy where I work had an accident and had pretty bad electrical Burns to his upper body, I can tell you the body is very good at mending itself, along with teh great medical knowledge they have nowadays.

I'm very proud of him Ian,all the time through it he has been smiling and joking,only a few tears when they took his hand out of the water.I've had a few burns with my work,know how painful they are,but nothing like Lee is going through.
