I have seen in my local paper that a new Porsche dealership is coming to Norwich, anyone else seen this?

Will be handy for me as I'm on the east coast and nearest one is currently in Colchester.

Was chatting to my Tonbridge sales guy the other day about their new showroom and workshop (still half-finished) and it's their company that's opening the Norwich OPC. Not much information forthcoming, but should sell a lot of tractors smile

With Colchester & Cambridge only 60 miles away I would be surprised if it got the green light. Aren't planning laws in and around the city centre very strict?

The previous Porsche dealership in Norwich has been long gone - I remember test driving their first 964 Carrera 2. Now I'm showing my age!

There’s a new one in the Isle of Man too...although they don’t seem to have any AUC cars yet.

Word a year or so ago was that the Porsche Centre Norwich had the go ahead and they were going to occupy the long vacant showroom and workshop on Aylsham Road next to Land Rover but no signs of it so far.

There is a website but that’s also being built, it does have a countdown clock to their opening though,

It would be handy though as my closest at the moment is Cambridge although they are also supposed to be moving to a new location soon as well.

Opposite Duxford along with Aston, if they get planning I think.

There was new OPC in Norwich around 2008/9 which didn't last very long!

The Cambridge move to Duxford is delayed because they will in effect have to build a leccy substation on site at vast expense to fastcharge all those Taycans-- you cant just plug them into the mains 13 amp plug you know.!!

Supposed to be at the cattle market on hall road next to B&Q.
Would be handy but can't see it happening, certainly not by spring 2020..

OPC Silverstone’s new showroom was delayed for the same reason.
