was there this weekend, had to leave Sunday at noon, but one Grantura managed to stay ahead of a Ferrari 250 GTO! Probably something to do with the talent of both drivers, but still!

the other Grantura's seemed to have forgotten where the accelerator was (or were in some kind of trouble)

fantastic event!! there is nothing like it for a true Pistonhead! all cars you ever dreemed of were there!!

Hi all,

Fantastic weekend: back from a 24 hours dream
Grant/Brinnington did very well:
- scratch: 7th
- compensated: 13th
see details (plateau 4) at
http://users.skynet.be/ris/manshisto/_index.htm
and the competition was hard with GT40s, 250 GTOs ...

Pictures and videos at

30 Tivs from the whole Europe (included the UK of course...) in the club area to support our beloved Granturas.

More information soon ...

A bientôt
Christophe

A bit disappointing to see so few TVRs
There must have been only 25 Chimaeras and Griffith, only one Tuscan and a few Ss...
What the Hell had the Brits been doing? There was something like 200 911!

PS: Cheers Beaver!
Quite funny we manage to meet in such a big place!

And it was a quite "blah blah/champagne" compared to the Folembray full b*lls-out thrash

(I can't post anything now without having to edit it at least once )

Who cares ... Le Mans Classic has been a superb event. Never seen so much T70s, GT40s, GTO's race. Imagine 305 race cars with grids of 61 cars per group on the full 24 Hours track from Saturday 4 pm till Sunday 4pm. Magic ! Thanx to the TVR CC France for the hospitality !
