Fuel hose layout
Discussion
Hi,
I'd really appreciate it if someone could send me a picture of the fuel hose layout as it attaches to the fuel rail inc the fuel pressure regulator. I've got one of the F.S.E power boost valve regulators if someone else has on of those that would be even better.
e-mail garethfair@yahoo.com.
Many thanks in advance,
Gareth.

Thanks Paul,
Can you tell me which connector on the fuel rail connects to the regulator, just wanted to check I'm putting it all back the right way.
Many thanks,
Gareth.
Sorry, didn't look very closely at my set up - I've got a Weber adjustable unit with the tank return connected on the end and the fuel rail connected on the side. The FSE unit may be different, I don't know. Does it not have any flow arrows on the body?
I don't know if it's actually universal, but all the RV8s I've seen have been plumbed in like this:
Fuel supply hose connects to the rear offside corner of the fuel rail.
Fuel rail runs clockwise round the plenum and back to the same corner.
Fuel pressure regulator connects to the outlet of the fuel rail. Inlet to the regulator is axial, outlet from the side, return hose back to the tank. Regulator also normally has a vac takeoff to the plenum.
Hope that makes sense and helps with your problem.

Agree
Fuel pump to fuel rail - regulator outlet back to top of tank
