Slim people - what do you eat
Discussion
I'm pretty rigid with my diet, same breakfast every day, very slight variation on lunch and rotate around three or four main meals. Might sound boring, but I know exactly what's going in and what affect it has. And for a s
t and lazy cook like me it makes it easy to shop and prepare. Lots of chicken, no fizzy stuff, loads of water, very minimal alcohol, not enough veg.
When you skip breakfast, or lunch from a canteen, or eat out at night, lots of days you've got no chance of understanding the calories. Not to mention the alcohol... I think though it's mostly about portion control. It's very easy to overestimate what you need and go with what you want.
I weigh myself most weeks and hover around 69kg.

I can eat rubbish, but I'm blessed with a high metabolism.
I run 'hot' as it were, Wife refers to me as a hot water bottle, which is great during winter but I sweat buckets (whilst sleeping) in the summer.
I do that as well and have always wondered what it was. It always happens if I eat alot of sugar before bed or drink wine etc, I go to bed and feel like my body temperature raises by about ten degrees!I run 'hot' as it were, Wife refers to me as a hot water bottle, which is great during winter but I sweat buckets (whilst sleeping) in the summer.
Prepare to be bored...
for six days a week:
Breakfast - Cashew nut milk, banana, chia/flax/etc seed, spoon of porridge oats blended up.
Lunch - I make a juice in the morning in my juicer to bring to work. Three carrots, two apples and root ginger.
Dinner - 1x pepper & 2 x large mushrooms roasted in coconut oil with a dash of salt, pepper and chili flakes. half a fresh avocado, spinach and some hummus.
No snacking at any other time. Only drink water
For one day a week:
Eat/drink whatever I want, calories don't count, nothing counts, enjoy.
Aside - I go to the gym for an hour Monday thru Friday, and play golf Saturday & Sunday.

i'm 5'8 and fluctuate between 10 and 11 stone.
At 10 stone i was exercising heavily twice a week, had reasonably low body fat, drinking socially on weekends, and eating three square meals a day of whatever, and a few snacks.
I'm currently at about 11 stone which is heavy for me, thats with drinking 4 or 5 nights of the week, skipping breakfast, eating lunch (sandwich or soup or something on toast) and a proper cooked dinner of carbs/veg/meat, and some crap/snacks/sweets here and there and eating out quite a few times. Haven't been exercising as much due to rehab-ing a shoulder injury.
I've never weighed more than 11 stone and change, and in university i would eat and drink all sorts of rubbish, alcohol and otherwise... although i've noticed that at 33 years old the weight comes on faster and takes longer to shift if i'm not doing much in the way of exercise...changing diet alone it takes a few weeks to drop back down. Drinking beer seems to add on the most weight in a short time.
I've always just assumed I have quite a fast metabolism, but maybe it's genetics, don't know.

At 6' and 11st 10lb I am now apparently the ideal weight for my height after just cutting out all the rubbish. Before doing that I was 13.5 stone.
I don't worry about what is on my plate at mealtimes although I guess I inadvertanly eat a good mix of meat and steamed fresh veg. I have been to a fast food restaraunt maybe half a Dozen times in the last five years. There is no snacking on sweets/crisps/biscuits at all, dessert would be Greek yoghurt with honey. I don't really drink and I don't exercise apart from very occasional casual weight training sessions.

Dinner, usually a pasta or rice dish, sometimes fish or steak boiled potatoes or chips. Veggies to suit. Ice cream or cheese to follow.
Pint of beer and 1/2 bottle of red.
I maintain under 12 stone, 5' 10". 15 yrs ago I was 14 stone, diet roughly the same, just more of it!

I'm 5'7" and for years I could eat anything I wanted and would remain at 8st - I used to get asked if I was anorexic. Then I hit 35 and slowly I noticed that I started putting on weight. I can no longer eat 3 course meals without feeling I've over done it so I do limit what I eat now and it's usually smaller portions. I don't really weigh myself but I'm about 9.5st now.
I don't really exercise - a walk on a Sunday is about my limit and sometimes walk the 2 miles to work in the summer, but I'm a typical woman who runs cold, so I reckon I expend most of my calories trying to keep warm (I'm sat in the office right now with my puffa jacket on).

Whatever I want. Recent injury and less activity has forced me to cut down to three meals a day, probably between 2500-3000 calories a day.
When I moved in with my no-sugar, vegetarian girlfriend (who does the majority of the cooking) I dropped from 90-85kg pretty quickly. At 188cm I really want to be around 100kg, so once my abdominal injury is better I'll probably knock the calories up to 4500-5000 and get fat.

Assuming 600 Calories an hour, I'll burn 7200-10000 a week doing Cardio.
No special diet or anything. A lot of brown pasta/rice/bread and protein. Vegetables too.
Most nights I'll have a beer. One takeaway/meal out a week.
No chocolate/cakes in week.
I'm 5ft11 and currently 80kg. Will be 75kg by March. Can't lost weight past that though.
