How often do any of us achieve the claimed economy that the manufacturers provide on any car in the real world? I don't. But I must say that I found the fuel consumption on a base 718 boxster loaner much poorer than I had expected it would be (it was about the same as the average I got on my Cayman R which was 25 mpg).
