which ceramic coating for a new aston martin
Discussion
The dealer will apply Platinum which is Gtechniq's dealer only coating, hopefully after at least a 2-stage machine polish as I can guarantee your car will have paint defects kindly installed by clueless people in the factory.
Platinum sits between Crystal Serum Light and Serum Ultra in terms of product performance.
It is particularly good on black cars as the product sheets water from panels very effectively as opposed to beading which can cause water spots if you are washing a car in the sun and are in a hard water area.
Platinum is excellent as long as the correct prep has been done beforehand.
Depending on how much the dealer wants to charge you, it could be more cost effective to get their top level Serum Ultra applied by the Gtechniq accredited detailer local to you.
cheers
