Cashplus business account to HSBC business, switch scheme

Hello chaps!

Can someone, who perhaps has had experience of this, help?

I opened a Cashplus business account 2 years ago, quick and easy. A few months later I opened a HSBC account but let it sit open ready for switching. I'm now getting my finger out and ready to transfer funds from Cashplus, plus direct debits, into the HSBC account, my questions...

Do I need to use the HSBC switching service? I'm only asking as there opening times are 0830 to 1800 Monday to Friday, I work in a phone restrictive environment.
If not, how do I move business cash from one business account to a new one keeping the tax man happy?
Are Cashplus part of the switching service scheme?

I'm able to pop into a HSBC branch on Monday so I guess i'll have answers soon, just thought I'd prepare myself so I can ask them pertinent questions.

You should do your research on HSBC business accounts before making any changes. They love to close down accounts without any notice and leave all your suppliers unpaid. Tons of threads about them on here and they should be avoided at all costs.
