ayup as a keen petrol head and fully paid up member of the old fart brigade I having done the hot minis/ the fast cars /4wd/choppers n customs etc,I think having had various small ex military vehicles over the years id quite like a larger vehicle.my main question is can I drive an articulated pre1960 tank transporter on a pre 1997 car licence ?

You can drive pre 1960 of any weight on a car license - regularly drive Diamond T and Scammell SV2S

Well, weight-wise, it should be ok, but being articulated may be an issue?

Edit: Looks like as long as it's not got a laden trailer behind it, it's ok. Interesting!
