HELP - What Mercedes C class should I go for?
Discussion
Hello all,
I am currently looking at purchasing a Mercedes C class from 2012-2015.
I am currently torn between the C250 CDI and the C250 CGI.
As I dont generally do to much long distance driving, I am currently leaning towards to petrol.
However, there seems to be very few C20 CGI's around, is there any particular reason for this?
Would great appreciate some more information on both models, is there anything I should be watching out for?
Look forward to hearing from you lot

If you're not doing many miles then the petrol is the one to go for, the diesel outsold it as the performance was similar with lower running cost but as I said if you're doing low miles petrol is your best option.
Also look for E250/350cgi's & of course C350's, what would you like to know about them.

Very good point with the E class, I shall have a little look in to them!
Are there any major differences from the E class to the C class, the E class seems to come a higher spec as standard!
The only issue with the 3L petrols is that my insurance starts to become a little silly, as I am a younger driver.
I really like the look of the C250 CGI, was wondering if that engine has any issues powering a car if that size though? I’m unable to find many threads regarding this model in particular
