This question has obviously been asked a few time so rather than start a new thread can somebody please point me in the direction of some buying threads

I will be looking at the original Elise with a budget of £13000, will be used as my only car so want to get one with a hard top for winter, yearly mileage will be approx 3,000k

Thanks

This has a huge link list about 2/3 the way through from Henry IIRC:

Looks expensive if you ask me. 12-12.5k (if it is MINT!) would be a more realistic price. You're going to pay over the odds just because its got a fancy stereo in it. The ITG is worth 200 max as an aftermarket, the wheels maybe 500, everything else is fluff.

Having looked at others for sale on Pistonheads I agree. It does look well looked after though

Would having a hard top make much difference to the price?
